Welcome Lisa!!!

Once more I am indebted to the indefatigable Camille - the eye that never sleeps - who rides shotgun on the Blog while I’m asleep. Thank you for spotting that Lisa has joined us.

Veteran Lit chatters like Mary will of course instantly recognise Lisa. For those who don’t know Lisa, she is from ‘Down Under,’ and a serious professional computer whizz. For the dim-witted who think IP addresses represent a truth that never lies, just wait til you’ve had e-mails from Lisa In the USA one minute and then from her in Australia one minute later. Doubtless she will make herself known in due course in her own inimitable style. All I can say is if you think Nicky has a dry wit, Lisa will positively dessicate you….. While she may not want to own up to it, Lisa has been a good friend to many Lit newbies and has saved many cyber-naïve tyros (myself included) from Lit’s murky pitfalls. A very big WELCOME Lisa -plus a big pleased-to-see-you hug if I’m allowed.

As Oz have just lost ‘The Ashes’ and are having more than their fair share of rain at the moment, what could be more appropriate than Take That, (including local boy to me Robbie Williams) singing The Flood!

Saffy, Saffy, Saffy....

I only joined to keep you happy and after all it was New Years and to stop you asking. At least now I don’t have vet anything. Secretly, I know nothing about IP addresses; I am actually a time traveller. Mmmm now that could be fun!!!

Now do tell me, why would Mary know me? ok ok I will concede to that one or Mary will beat me, have you seen Mary with her ropes? (she will correct me and say lariat, but I like my version better) I am more likely to watch from afar and be quiet until something amuses me.

Mary, I am not going to read the preamble, you know that! Unless of course reading is to my advantage. You dont stand in line woman, Saffron can wait, she wont mind for you.

As for the rest. Lol, I admit to nothing. Well, not in public anyway. You give me too much credit, none of which is true. (thinking, can I actually write that. Perhaps not, some of it “may” be true. I have issues with lies when the truth is normally so easy to dance around) As for the Danish sweet’s dry wit being desiccated by mine, not a chance young Saffron, she is too sweet to do that too. I am always going to have a soft spot for the Scandinavians. Damn, if Nicky didn’t recall my real name, she will now. You do realise that only a few know me by name, as that’s that task one must always work out for themselves.

Thanks Jaye, Hope the New Year is good to you too and the rest of the group. It started well with friends however hit a hurdle with something at about 3am.
