Dusty



Back in the 1960s it wasn’t fashionable for girls to like girls, so the public were quite happy to label Dusty a ‘Tomboy.’ Even her comment in the Evening standard in 1970 was quickly lost: ‘A lot of people say I'm bent, and I've heard it so many times that I've almost learned to accept it....I know I'm perfectly as capable of being swayed by a girl as by a boy. More and more people feel that way and I don't see why I shouldn't.’ Dusty had a sad life but a truly great voice.

okay I haven't had a drop to drink but after viewing this think maybe I might have a hangover too... there seems to be some serious lipsync action going on here. LOL

poor Dusty...such a trooper though, speaking out like that, and a very commendable lady. Thank you for posting this golden oldie song, Saffy! :)
