Traveller’s Tales part XII

The last part can be found: HERE

In the last part we were on an early morning trip around Split in Croatia. It was a beautiful summer’s morning I was enjoying the wonderful colours to be found in and around the city

Under a clear blue Mediterranean sky some of the colours of the flowers were gorgeous.

They seem to complement the ancient stonework perfectly.

Potted histories of the city can be found painted on the walls.

Of course readers are more interested in what the local women look like. Here is an example of a local cutie and in the background is her mother who has been delegated to bin duty for the day.

The City has a splendid theatre…..

… and men like men everywhere always seem to have a cross to bear.

Younger men of course still prefer to be associated with the biggest erections they can find…

In the fish market this woman was selling ‘friskies’ which look like a member of the mackerel family.

As ever the craic was good with lots of locals getting together to catch up on gossip.

Some of the fish like this angler fish seem to redefine the word ‘ugly’ I didn’t pause to ask what it had in its mouth.

These equally ugly fish I assumed were lampreys.

Back to the local women, some it seems were only too willing to strike a pose.

(to be continued)

love it! I cant quite put my finger on why but I find the women more attractive than the fish.

Great stuff as always, Saffron xx
