I must admit this time you really do have me going. This song was for many years what my Dad used to sing to my Mother when he was drunk. Sadly he’s sober most the time now.
Such a wonderful song - a far cry away from the senseless inaudible garbage that passes as ‘music’ these days! I have seen Davey Arthur and The Fureys many times and I never tire of that lilting banjo intro.
