In Memory

Steve Jobs, the charismatic Silicon Valley entrepreneur who re-shaped the world's computing, music and mobile phone industries and changed the daily habits of millions around the globe, died yesterday at the age of 56.

For many he bought style, simplicity, innovation and reliability to the often tortuous, labyrinthine, unreliable and frustrating world of personal computing. Even the boxes his products came in had style and you were always left with the feeling you were investing in the future.

He led such a full and varied life - from 70s hippy to major corporate leader - a true innovator who, from what I have heard never lost the common touch. Death is sad, young death is tragic.

Truly a loss . He has affected us in ways we readily fail to see. What a visionary.

I agree there are very few can step into his shoes.
