As an extremely gauche schoolgirl I fell in love with a waitress from the little café just outside the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in St.Petersburg. It was my first really big crush. Thing was she didn’t even have blonde hair, her hair was black! It’s funny how your first big crush always stays with you. I can remember it just like yesterday. I went in every day and sat with a bowl of borsch trying to make it last as long as I could.
