The previous version of this blog was removed due to graceless activity by some people. The target of their venomous outpourings was a particularly good friend of mine who seems, through no fault of hers of which I am aware, to attract misguided and wholly unfair criticism. She is simply the most delightful person I have ever met online and she has my unstinting affection and loyalty.
I would really be grateful if people would simply grow up. When the blog runs smoothly it is a really energising resourse for us all. The mature users make no nasty, cruel or vicious remarks; rather we all enjoy the humour, the factual submissions, the music, poetry and smut. That's what it is for - to amuse, inform and entertain. I love posting on the blog, love the feedback, the support and affection. I detest cruelty and unkindness.
I beg those of you who are inclined to be less than civil or civilised to go elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy each others' company.

I couldn't agree more. Most of us know who is behind this and we are all totally sick of it.
Thanks China - it's good that people show loyalty xx
Well said Monica:)
So sad the good efforts of Saffy and the many others that have contributed to making this new blog all that it has become have to be compromised once again . Though I have not been as involved so much of late, this will cause me to rally and defend Too much heart and soul has been poured into this new effort by the editor and others to allow any sullying of any kind to anyone that has made this the exceptional blog and haven that it has become!
I may be at fault for this....I included the blog name in my profile on lit and it may have stirred up things i wasn't entirely aware of. I'm not ashamed of this blog/my blog along with the people who contribute. I'm proud of the fact I can share it with others:) so if my having this blog listed in my lit profile has anything to do with this drama, I'm sorry. Furthermore, I will continue to exhaust every means within me to promote this blog and everyone in it, in spite of my dislike or ill understanding of people, we shall persevere.
It was never the same since Grace left was it dear Mons?
