Some Irish music

One of the things I enjoy here is how everyone shares their tastes in music. Certainly I have had my eyes opened to all kinds of new songs. Here is a song from my childhood. It is about the dark period in my nation’s history called The Troubles. Thankfully they are now all but gone, however I think you will find the song is still a very moving one.

The town featured is Londonderry which incidentally is the only word in the English language with 6 silent letters
