Editorial

NORMAL SERVICE WILL BE RESUMED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Lat night I went to see a band playing as selection from the Queen repertoire of songs. By any stretch of the imagination a very difficult task. Brian and Freddie really were a unique combination. Nevertheless the band did very creditably, even my companion said so and she’d had the fortune to see Queen live on several occasions and actually booked them for a student gig two weeks before they hit the Charts with Bohemian Rhapsody.

One of the numbers they played was ‘Bicycle’ if you’ve not seen the Queen bicycle girls watch and enjoy.

Which brings me to the point of this editorial. The next couple of weeks are amongst the busiest of my social calendar, including Glastonbury and Wimbledon which in turn are proxies for several university reunions. Wellies, mud, champers, strawberries and Russian tennis players you can’t beat it. I’m hoping to get away later this morning so my input will be patchy for a while. I have charged up a couple of USB memory sticks and will post copy when I can. (I really must invest in a lap top.

Stay safe!

Have a wonderful time, Saffron. Remember, clean shreddies and dignity at all times. If you swoon for one of the 'ovas' at Wimblers, send for me and I'll bring a damp sponge. What shall I do without you and Z?

Take care xxxxxxxxxxxx

Enjoy Saffy. I have a pictorial or two in mind while you're away. The dignity of the blog might suffer though. ;)
