Tangible Dream

With an antique silver comb
Unknot the tangles of complexity
Brush stroke to sweet simplicity
My wish for you to see
The wisdom of such souls
Who knew secrets much like me
How to seed a greater goal
How to feed a deeper need
To fullest measure

Emotions soaring
Higher than a pretty kite
You could take full advantage
While on this fragile precipice
Anything you'd want to do
I would surer beg of you
To bleed purer past advantage
If I thought you would, believed you could
Take me where I want to be
Drowning in a vast blue sea
Wearing every precious pearl of your love
Like a necklace donned upon only me
Free to gleam from waking dawns
Beyond tangerine swept sunsets
Kissing sultry moonlit sighs
Into nights of white satin

Flying on such faith
In this vulnerable place
You could take me anywhere
You’d ever want to go
If you only precious knew
How to reach those destinations
If you thought I would, thought I could
Believed I’d grant the knowledge
Your brave heart’s seeking
Still you've not heard its quiet plea
Enough to listen carefully
But if you ever do, I hope
I’m there to greet, still here to meet
You anywhere at all,
Except in a tender fall
Of intangible dreams

Well, I'm not surprised at all that you can conjure up such great emotion, not only in words, but from the readers as well. What a pleasant stewing of words. You are full of talent. OKay, I really mean it when I say, "damn Camille, you have such a talent...let's go fucking show the world". Or I might of said, " lets go break their arms"....still the same to me chica:) Huge hugs!!!!

Thank you Jenny & Kimmie. I haven't written anything new for awhile and this one has a bit different style... thought I'd try it out here since I noticed a poetry trend occurred while I was gone. :)

Another deliciously introspective poem that forces the reader to think and wonder at the revelations. I think I need to come back and re-read it this evening, when I’m enjoying that end of the day glow with a glass of wine and when I can put my feet up.

Is ‘this vulnerable place’ where I think it is?

Thank you Camille, it’s lovely to see you back. The Blog is at it’s best when it both titillates and educates, and teases and invigorates but mostly allows us to be who we really are and reach for who we really want to be. Loved it.
