Good Morning Saffron. It is said the lifespan of a butterfly is a mere two weeks long...the fragility of their very existance is only surpassed by the uniqueness of their individual beauty. Much like differences of people and their levels of love...I believe that may be why they are compared to the sometimes fleeting yet profound aspects of human love.
I believe most ‘on-line’ love is like the butterfly, as it lasts about a fortnight. Rather than being a butterfly I think I’d rather be a rhinocerous hornbill. Not just because girl hornbills get very horny but they mate for life.

*quietly departs to go practice hornbill roping...
Great post. Thank you.
So I guess my fear of butterflies isn't so bad then. Now I can actually be proud of it.
