A little poetry for the soul

From T.S.Elliot's Collected Poems.

Landscapes

I. New Hampshire

Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grives and to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling,swing,
Spring,sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree

Lovely images perhaps you'd like to post J Alfred Prufrock tomorrow Dan it's one of my favourites perhaps because we had to do him at school.

I like the Images and the poem ,Dan. For whatever reason it makes me think of spring around the corner. I know we all have had enough of snowy weather.

Thanks for covering for Saffy as well,Dan. I Will do my part too. If I see a mob of people coming up the road with pitchforks and torches, I will send them in another direction, lol.
