The Freedom of Letting go

It’s the way you carry it.” ~Lena Horne

Forgiveness is a liberating experience, it is part of the continual renewal that keeps us alive and in most cases sane and happy.

Sadly there are those usually obsessive people who are unable to forgive or even forget. In many cases the original cause of the need for forgiveness was self-created delusion. I have perhaps learnt more about the human psyche since I have been on line than any other period in life. In part that is because in real life you choose your friends who share and reflect your values. Other people you never become friends with because their manner, their evasion of eye contact, their disposition tell you that you really don’t want to know them. You are robbed of these important senses here and thus you become exposed to a greater gamut of the human race. Some of these people you can readily forgive but it would be exceedingly dangerous to forget.

A beautiful post as always Moonbeam.

Kimmie: I'll try to find out for you if my computer will cooperate. For this moment it is at least allowing me on the blog and to reply.

Saffron: Thank you for your insightful response to this, Sunshine! :)
