Anatomy of a cowgirl

With so many cowgirls on the blog I thought I would set out as a humble English girl to find out just who cowgirls really are:

So far I’ve discovered:


That they like to wear hats.


However in the best traditions of the cowboy movie some like to wear white hats (these are the good girls like Mary) and some like to wear black hats( like Camille and Kimmie)


Most seem to live in simple houses.



And they love the open spaces…..


As well as hats they have a boots fetish


And never go anywhere without yards of rope.


They of course have that exaggerated Southern civility and hospitality.


It goes without saying they like to ride…..


Even at parties….


Finally I’ve learned that they like guitar music


and that most are related to General Custer
