As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end,
be afraid that it will never begin.

Must be time for the Newbie to shut up!
we think you should continue to speak :-)
I kinda like a mouthy woman, Lisa, especially one's who spout off words of wisdom! An excellent post, Miss Newbie, who's technically not really a newbie at all! ;)
Ah but there is a big difference between mouthy and being able to speak ones mind. Careful or I will post quotes of my favourite woman in history.
Now, you have my curiosity up. I am told it kills the cat. How do you really know I am not a newbie?
You haven't seen my evil side yet. Perhaps it went on vacation. Never made me think too much, its dangerous for all.
Very nice, Lisa. I have seen this before, although not in a long time.Words of wisdom to remember in any relationship.
Thanks for the post for all of us to ponder. Life begins each and every morn just that some lives are better than others but all in all not that bad.
I rather like your post Lisa. living in a black and white world where there are few gray areas, I must confess...I believe in living like there is no tomorrow. But when faced with absolutes and black and whites, how is one to truly live? however, where there are absolutes and vague gray areas we, seemingly, find life. it's rather what we conceive living to be. just my two pennies:)
The idea of somebody shutting you up Lisa is too difficult even for me to grasp. *grins.
As for your favourite woman didn’t she say: ‘A woman is like a tea bag- you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water?’
And as for you evil side I know you’re a big pussy cat really.
Personally I loved your contribution. I’m not normally one for fatalism, let alone splashing clichés about, but I believe many things are for a reason and in my experience when one door shuts another opens.
We’re all looking forward to many more of your contributions and I’m ‘reet chuffed’ to see you here. I know you don’t like hugs but here’s one any way *hugssssssssss.
Saffron!!!
How the heck do you remember that? Especially with neither of us being American. Not sure even Mary would recall, little own quote me. Although the inferior one was seen by many for years.
For the record, some do know how to shut me up. Very well. LMAO. (I wanted to slap you)
Thank you Lisa I enjoyed reading your 'thought for the day.'
