However I’m sure you will agree that the Great Liss Project was one of the big innovations of the year. In fact Liss spent a lot of the year thinking up new ideas and at one stage was even instrumental in making sure that the spirit of The Girls’ Room continued.
As a result it is my pleasure as Editor-in-Chief to present the prestigious Golden Hug Award to Liss for 2010.
Furthermore to encourage Literary contributions we have instituted the Green Eyes Drama Award which for the year 2010 goes to Monica for her thrilling bodice-ripper ‘The Bath Chronicles.’
Well done everyone for making our Blog such an success. Watch this space for more awards including the coveted Golden Cuffs, Best Newbie and Best Bum trophies.

First off, I'd like to thank my Agent, and my publicist... I never could have done it without you guys. Growing up as a young girl in the mean streets of Detroit, I always dreamed about getting a Golden Hug Award, but it wasn't till the buxxom Mrs. Parker next door wore a two piece bathing suit, did I think I'd ever be able to achieve such a monumental feat. I'd like to thank everyone else who was up for this years award, I'm just thrilled to be in such wonderful company. A special shout out to Camille for all her inspiration, for Nicky for her support and guidance. I'd also like to thank Monica, Lisa, Neha and Jaye for all their help this year.

First off, I am wondering if I may be able to hire Liss's writers. Mine have been on strike for a while now. I guess being payed with stale donuts, and day old coffee, only gets one so far. I will try not to be jealous of the awards. lol
To be serious, the great Liss project was very innovative, and did much to bring in member participation with their favorite photos, and themes. The body of work represents not only a great Idea, but member interest.
The Bath Chronicles was another well done piece,and also represented a lot of thought and hard work, on the part of Monica. Well done, the both of you.
There are others,like Dan,Jenny,and Lisa,Mary,Kimmie and others, who have also added videos, pictures and such. Lauren, has also been having fun with the hysterical pictures she has been digging up and Camille,with the various works she has contributed. Freya also had a nice first post. It's great to see all having fun with it. They have been outstanding.
I know there are other projects in the works, and look forward to seeing them here. The volume of work by Saffy, needs no words from me.
Congratulations Liss, and Monica, on the well deserved awards, and recognition, and to everyone else, for the great work.
