Lesbians Earn More than Straight Women?

I found this and had to post it for reactions. I actally find it a little funny that things like this get posted anywhere. What someone else does earn or does not, really isnt my business. Thought I would share it just the same as we all dont think alike...which I am also glad of.

"I stumbled across this blog post, citing a study comparing earning power of lesbians vs straight women. The study claims that lesbians earn about 6% more than heterosexual women, but no one is sure why. I'm puzzled by this myself, because most of the lesbian couples I know make less than gay male or straight couples. We all know that women make less than men.

But could lesbians really be earning more than straight women? If so, why?

No one who conducted the study could come up with a reason, but of course, many had theories. One of them is that straight women don't pursue more money in the workplace because they know their men will make up for what they lack. The other is that lesbians are more likely to go for traditionally male dominated jobs which pay more."
