Things to Light Your Way

OK for those of the readers that like lighthouses.

In Vegas one can travel to several countries in your imagination like Venice, New York, Paris to name a couple. In AZ you can view lighthouses far and near abeit replicas.

Where are the replicas located (this is easy), what is the scale, why are they there?
Of those pictured here is there any state with more than one lighthouse, is there a foreign lighthouse and which is your favorite?
Have fun investigating!

Yes Lady, they are my photos from a couple of years ago so there are more lighthouses now.

So many phallic symbols Mary is there something you’re not telling us? I’ll have a go at the quiz when I get back from the sales.

The lighthouses are around Lake Havasu and were built by the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club. The lights are reduced-size replicas inspired by famous lighthouses of the U.S. and Canada. The lights are legitimate aids to navigation, with designs approved by the Coast Guard and locations approved by the state as part of a master plan for lighting the waterways of the lake. Eventually there will be more than 20 lighthouses.

Not sure what you mean by foreign Mary. I can’t find the scale but would guess at around 1/4 to 1/3 scale based on sea-based lighthouses? My favourite is the East Quoddy Head Replica as it has the cross of St George.

Thank you for an enjoyable quiz.
