May you all find going down a lot easier in 2012
Wishing all our readers a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. I hope it will be one that exceeds your expectations and makes your dreams come true.
I know for many of you 2011 was a difficult year, with several old friends spending a painful time going in and out of hospital and in one case recovering from a very serious accident. My thoughts are especially with you at the turn of the year and you have my every good wish for a speedy recovery.
The New Year is traditionally a time for hope, when we make new resolutions and determine to start anew. Financially it is likely to be a difficult year and politically there will be many tough decisions to be made. Hopefully we will all be able to put old antagonisms aside and reach out to each other more. Love truly does make the world go around and we all have a part in keeping us spinning.
On a more personal note I’m now going back to bed. My memories of last night are sketchy to say the least. I do know I left the house at 1.00am clutching a bottle of Jameson’s to go first footing!

I want to wish you all the Best, that the New Year has to offer Saffy, and to all the other members and readers as well.
It is my hope that those who are suffering in any way, economically, physically or otherwise may have a more " solid footing " in the New year.
