Pickle

This is my other cat (the one that lives with my parents), Pickle.  I saved her--I fought, begged and pleaded with my mom to bring her into the house.  Mom finally agreed and I couldn't have been happier.  She loved me--followed me everywhere, slept in my bed, cuddled up against me, let me pet her and hold her as I pleased.

I had to move and had every intention of bringing her with me.  The day I packed up the Escape, I came back in to get Pickle.  My dad looked me right in the eyes and said, "you're not taking my damn cat."  Knowing that my parents wouldn't get an animal to replace her, I didn't put up a fight and let my dad keep her.

When I go home to visit, I guess she feels I abandoned her and she literally hates me, she has absolutely nothing to do with me.  She will hiss and growl at me if I even bother speaking to her, lol.

This is a video I shot, on my old phone, last year, I think.  Mom was petting her (she has a tickle spot--which is why she's licking herself in the video) and I was filming her.  Pickle was unaware that I was close to her, fliming.  This is her reaction when she realized I was in front of her.  Enjoy :-D

I had a kitty who, when I was away overnight traveling, upon my return would sit in the middle of the room with her back to me.
