I’m back tomorrow!

Meanwhile I have a question for whoever is the duty Auntie Jill.

Dear Auntie,

Here is a photo of my new friend Ahmed. He says if my father gives him four good camels he will give me many strong children. Furthermore if I become his number four wife he says he wants to work my ass hard. My problem is I was never in the pony club and know little about asses or donkeys. Is this likely to be a problem? He also says he has a big cartouche under his galabya which will make my eyes water. I assume this refers to all the wind driven sand. What worries me is my father told me I should avoid any gentleman Working On Government Service. What do you think? Would he just another Tomb Raider, or am I just in denial?

May the fleas of a thousands camels infest your armpits.

Yours,

Saffron.

Dear Saffron

Far be it from me to presuppose what Auntie would say but may I counsel you against accepting Ahmed's offer/s. First and foremost I fear you may have misheard the word 'ass.' In this case I think he means inheritance.

A large cartouche typically in the Mid East (as you know i am a regular there) means a substantial charabanc which is rather like a gangbanc but without the fun.

Working on Government Service is oft a euphemism for, as we say in England, unemployed. Take care my darling - villaynes lurk in every corner xxxxxxx
