Well despite my earlier cynicism I watched the wedding and I’m glad I did. It truly was a sumptuous extravaganza of pomp and ceremony, the kind of thing that we British do so well. The backdrop and camerawork were truly stunning. For Royals both bride and groom both looked very natural. If you’ve not watched it, it’s worth looking at the highlights.
