Konstantine......."they'll never hurt you like i do"

I'm someone's Konstantine, or was....perhaps still is. This song is special because a very dear soul to me introduced it to my musical collection back in 2005. Though the song may be much older than that, i hold it close to my heart. If you listen to the melody set in parallel with the lyrics, you'll perhaps relate on some levels. It's not often I value a song and place it on a pedestal. But in regards to great writing and music, this song does it for me. Enjoy:)

This song affected me in ways I never expected, Kimmie. Thank you for sharing it...it reminds me a bit of Blue October and is such I'd have posted, had I discovered prior to your introduction. It is powerful in ability to transform one into their own journey... somehow left me feeling a bit drained and overwhelmed in acknowledging the sheer futility of it all, meaning LOVE, getting wrapped up in someone mentally, emotionally, or both, as I'm prone to do. Sometimes hope becomes hopeless, and can dissipate without warning, mocking those who theretofore held amazing faith and you just want to curl up and die to forget, or pretend it never existed to begin with. I don't think I'm a believer anymore, which should bring some small measure of relief, but all I feel now is a profound sense of sadness and loss.

Love is like a storm Camille. Sometimes a hurricane and sometimes a drizzle. Sometimes the Tidel wave presenting a new start takes us off guard. we all know a tsunami is "the calm before the storm".

Sorry, Coco, I got carried away. I could have simplified by saying the song culminated into a retrospective review of perhaps one too many "Konstantines" cycling through my life. At some point you just have say 'enough' I'm too tired to carry on.

"We don't have much room to live..." Great song, amazing lyrics. I don't know if it's the voice, the piano part in the background or the lyrics that make it powerful, but it really has something for everyone in relationships. I'm sure that almost everyone could resonate with this song. Thanks for posting it. :)

P.S. I always love your music taste:)
