Saturday April 10th 2011- the O2 Arena and the concert is ready to start. Yes I can honestly admit that I never expected to be seeing Kylie Minogue in concert. For those of you who don't know who she is I'll give some background. Kylie shot to fame in the UK in the 80's as a star in an Australian soap. She then became a manufactured pop act through a production company but little did they know that she would become a pop phenomenon. Kylie is a mutli million album selling star and is a popular figure in the gay world. We went to see her knowing that it would be slightly camper than christmas but I think the video proves she pulled out all the stops. I have always been taught that you shouldn't mix water and electricity --- I'll leave you all to fill in the blanks there. Apologies for the quality but I think you get the idea.
A great show --- I loved the guy two rows from me in his sailor suit and pink feather boa!! The second video if you let it run shows the Roman centurions in their outfits revealing more than just the 6 packs --- apparently that meant that the feather boa was waved frantically. I myself was more taken with Kylie and her Spock ears. She is cute and small but perfectly formed......... anyway check it out.

Looks like you really got your money’s worth Auntie. The first clip reminded me of the Moscow State Circus with cod pieces. One of the downsides of living in the long grass is I doubt this will find its way to Buxton Opera House. Thanks for sharing the fun.... and yes she is cute.
